The Babolat Initiation red felt mini tennis balls are 75% slower than standard balls to help children learn basic skills in a fun and enjoyable way. They are bigger and have a lower bounce to let junior players practice a correct stroke technique. These stage 3 (red) balls are approved by the International Tennis Federation (ITF). They are ideal for play on a 36 foot court and support the International Tennis Federation’s "Tennis Play and Stay" campaign that aims to ensure the starter players’ first experience of tennis is a positive one.
